Base pads for Beretta 92

A base pad does two things: adds weight at the bottom of the magazine so it falls cleanly on release -- without relying on spring tension alone -- and closes the funnel geometry at the bottom of the grip if a magwell is fitted. On the 92, where competition use means multiple reloads per stage, a heavier pad is the difference between a magazine that drops when you press the release and one that hangs. If you are running a magwell, the base pad and magwell need to be chosen together -- the geometry must match at the bottom.
