A magwell widens the SFP9 magazine well and chamfers the entry point, giving the incoming magazine a more forgiving target under stage pressure. The SFP9 is HK's competition-oriented 9mm, and a magwell is a natural part of the competition reload setup. The SFP9 and VP9 are the same gun -- magwell compatibility is shared.
